I am disappointed to read that rampion2 is moving forwards as it goes directly agsinst OLSEA2 government guidelines ie it is not offshore. This, coupled, with the Rampion 1 capacity of 2.25% leads me to believe that there are better options out there ie you need wind for wind turbines. The impact on the coastline visually will be horrific as will the impact on the environment/ nature- both at sea and land re running the cables to Cowfold. Most visitors to our area cone for the sea and the view- you risk turning our beautiful coastline in Fawley (Southampton). You have a duty to maintain this coastline for future generations not simply to place a wind farm in the proposed location.
