Increase in traffic on the A272 which is already under strain, Cowfold double roundabouts will be gridlocked bringing an increase in accidents ,local single track lanes will be used as a substitute bring even more chaos plus much poorer air quality.Many habitats ruined with loss of ancient trees, hedgerows.Local Cowfold business's will be at a disadvantage with the increase in traffic. ie Traffic lights on the A272 will make transport through Cowfold even more slower.It is obvious that the new substation if approved should be constructed on the Wineham site where the Bolney sub station is.
