I strongly object to this proposal. Subsequent to the consultation, proposals and information has materially changed. The village was not properly consulted in the first place. Rampions proposal is increasingly being found to be flawed; specifically 1) Over estimation of the benefits/energy production 2) Insufficient understanding of the impact to traffic in the A272 and through Cowfold as well as local roads which are totally unsuited to heavy construction traffic. Subsequent to their initial proposal it has emerged that little on-site surveying/monitoring was carried out and Rampion appear ignorant of the frequent RTAs and associated traffic chaos along the proposed route. 3)Unacceptable destruction landscape and unique habitats, trees and hedgerows. Again - no assessment was carried out by Rampion and the serious nature of the potential demage has only been discovered by local investigations. 4) Rampion's presentation to the village downplayed and misrepresented the expected traffic flow, impact on air quality, evironmental impact 5) Omissions and errors in Rampion's initial submission, together with issues identified subsequent to the initial submission clearly indicate that the Cowfold alternative of the original 4 sites proposed is the least attractive on all counts. 6) No analysis of the economic effect on the economy of Cowfold 7) Rampion's RVAA is totally unacceptable; No visits have taken place, only ground floor impacts have been included and no consideration has been given to the impact on family life of this development going on for years. 8) Many of the timing estimated given cannot be believed in the light of how long previous stages of the development have taken.
