My serious concerns: Disruption to the eco-system during the 5 year construction phase. This would include the movement of Dolphins and any Harbour Porpoises from the Bay, they could move up to 50 miles from the source of piling. The impact on crustaceans who can't leave the area - e.g. lobsters, crabs - , hermit crabs, etc. The sediment created could have an impact on the growth of Kelp. I am a supporter of green energy, but I want Rampion to give attention too and be clear about what the short term negative impact would be on marine life and spell out what they will do to reduce the short term impact and increase the long term benefits.
