We object to the use of Michelgrove Lane for site traffic in support of Rampion 2 as laid out in drawing number 42285-WOOD-CO-ON-PN-MD-0019. We object to the use of Michelgrove Lane for the following reasons: 1) Michelgrove Lane is a narrow access lane unsuitable for construction site traffic. 2) There is an alternative route of site traffic by way of the track near Green Lodge. This track was (we believe) used for military vehicles during the war and will support heavy site traffic. There are also plenty of places for heavy vehicles to pass one another along the route. Furthermore, Angmering Park Estate/Norfolk Estate will be financially compensated for the use of their land and it would seem reasonable that they should incur the disruption from the site traffic etc. 3) The space between our house and the house on the opposite side of the road is narrow and there will be excessive noise created by the site traffic. This will interfere with our right to enjoy our home peacefully. 4) Heavy site vehicles will cause vibration and may damage our house, part of which is a lodge tower from the Shelley period of ownership of the estate. 5) There may be damage to Michelgrove Lane. 6) The use of the layby adjoining property will be noisy and disruptive particularly at night 7) From past experience there will be noise not only the vehicles but also disputes between the drivers navigating the narrow lane. 8) There may be damage to our front garden and kerbs etc 9) There may be damage to our vehicles
