Why is it that I am unable to find any kind of visualisation of the impact from our shoreline of this wind farm? What evidence is provided on the effect (short/medium/long term) of migration, marine life and the sea bed? How will the quality of sea water be affected during construction, will swimmers and children be safe in the water? Which alternative sites were considered? Is there a detailed study to support economic viability given intermittent wind velocity in this narrow section of the English Channel? As a local resident I have serious concerns regarding transparency of information and timeframes during which this proposed development has evolved. Covid guidelines forbidding local forums from meeting for discussion at the outset. I am very concerned about accuracy of information; this is a new wind farm which requires a totally separate infrastructure. It is not an ‘extension’ as publicised. This is misleading information.
