I strongly oppose the proposal. I do not feel that the Cowfold Community have been properly consulted, no knowledge of this at all, some people had a leaflet, i certainly had nothing. In the drop in session as the almond centre in June 23, I asked how the roads around Cowfold would be effected, especially the A272 & A281, Henfield road, they couldn't answer my question and referred to their drawings but said they would have to email me, when they did they simply gave me the proximity of the site to the road, absolutley no information about how the proposed work on both roads would effect the traffic flow through the village. Should this proposal go ahead, it will completly cause havoc on our roads in & out of Cowfold causing congestion along some of the single track lanes, our business int eh village will be hugly impacted as we rely on passing trade, getting to work will take so much longer, pollution will be terrible and the damage ecologically with be unthinkable. This site should not be considered for such a project, the surrounding roads an the amount of HGV's passing through will just cut Cowfold off, making it impossible for Cowfold residents to go about their business.
