I live directly on the sea front.I am very concerned about the visual impact this wind farm would have both for myself and all those living on this strip of coast. Littlehampton and Bognor Regis are the nearest coastal towns to where I live.Over recent years both these towns have become down at heel.They have huge potential as holiday destinations that would bring money and employment opportunities.The wind farm would have a negative impact on tourism and would add to the hardship many people endure. The wind farm would have a negative impact on wildlife of all descriptions both coastal wildlife and inland. The South Downs attract many visitors who again bring money to communities.Visitors would inevitably be put off by the scale of work that would be undertaken. I listened to a presentation by those behind the scheme.One gentleman made the comment “We need to do our bit”.I was tempted to ask him where he lived.Not in this area I am sure.
