I want to object to Drax's application to add carbon capture technology to two of its wood burning units. I don't think this project is a sustainable development as defined in the National Planning Policy Framework. It's not compatible with increasing productivity, supporting communities' health, protecting the natural environment or improving biodiversity. I ask you for health and safety reasons as well for the sake of environment and biodiversity to refuse Drax permission for its BECCS application.
