To burn waste bio material is a sound way to generate energy but this is not what happens at Drax. The majority of the fuel used is grown specially to burn. This is just as bad as cutting down rainforest for firewood. Farm land should be used for growing food only otherwise every scrap of wild country will quickly destroyed in order to produce crops. Fitting carbon scrubbers is NOT a solution. It is at best only partially effective and does nothing to protect the further destruction of wild countryside.
