As a young person and as a Town Councillor, I feel that Drax's proposal shows inexcusable disregard for the future. The carbon and ecological impacts of their project are unnecessary, considering the greener, more localised alternatives available. And they are dangerous, considering the 'code red for humanity' issued by the UN on the environmental crisis.
