Transportation of raw materials over long distances, high energy costs creating products such as wood pellets, and furthermore burning these highly controversial pellets due to the high cost and ineffective nature of the carbon dioxide capture technology, are a combination of very unproven sustainability and sourcing that should put an end to this failed energy experiment. There are already far better and cheaper alternatives.
