BECCS is a nonsense. Chopping down trees, then burning the wood, to provide heat to drive turbines for electricity, and storing the emitted CO2, rather than allowing it to escape to the atmosphere, is a very strange way of proceeding, to say the least. Why not allow the trees to keep on growing, and keep on absorbing CO2 and emitting oxygen, instead? There are other, more efficient and cheaper ways, of generating electricity, which do less harm to the natural world.
