already a magnet for HGV. Any more traffic through narrow streets/roads is untenable. * no footpaths on many of the affected routes. Real danger to life. * no justification for using this site. Disruption & abandonment of HS2 means that area could be utilised instead. Wild fowl frequent the village. Numerous have been lost to traffic. This can only get worse should this project go ahead. * Roads in this area already in a bad state of repair. The onslaught from all the extra vehicles would make them impassable. * The outstanding beauty of the area should not be jeopardised. There must be alternatives to destroying village life & the reasons people choose to live here. * Flooding this last few months has been an ongoing problem. These plans can only make things worse in that regard. * Why spoil such a beautiful area? The National Forest would no longer be easy to access & the routes to it would be an eyesore.
