My concerns are with the vast amount of quality farmland that will be taken up by this project. Farmland that this country desperately needs for the production of food. The beautiful landscape that we currently have will be impaired by the huge fencing and even higher solar panels. The wildlife habitats will be hugely destroyed by the removal of hedges, the building of roads and the burying of electrical cables. A huge impact will be the additional traffic of lorries along our small, already crumbling lanes. The roads aren't made for this level of traffic & size of vehicles. There will be major disruption to all commuters to work. These lanes already flood...additional concrete/hardstanding will cause further flooding. All this on top of the environmental issues of 24 hour noise, risk of fire from battery storage and the glare to drivers. There are alternative options....solar panels on all new build houses & on warehouse roofs.
