At a time when food security is becoming increasingly more important I do not wish to see 400 acres of agricultural land lost under solar panels which could be better sited on building rooftops. It is highly unlikely that the land will ever be returned to agricultural use. I also strongly object to the loss of trees and hedgerows in an area within the National Forest. The peace and quiet of the area will be very much affected permanently let alone the turmoil, disruption and noise during construction. As someone who lives in Coton in the Elms I do not wish to endure reflected light from the site nor ugly protective screening to deal with it. Green energy should not be at any cost particularly the loss of green land and habitat.
