Site will be a blight on the landscape of a very beautiful, rural area. Other options are possible and should be considered, I.e. siting solar panels on the roofs of the numerous factories, shopping outlets and warehouses in the area. There has been regular flooding around the Drakelow area with the heavy rain that we have had. This project and it's development will increase the risk of that to the detriment of farmers, landowners, residents and motorists. Coton in the Elms cannot sustain more heavy vehicles than it already has passing through. Ridiculous to suggest that heavy plant vehicles would make Coton part of their route. This is the National Forest! Trees and woodland! In what world would that include a solar farm of this magnitude! We need the land that is currently farmed to remain exactly that to help provide food for the growing population. There are better alternatives than to rob the countryside of arable land.
