I have significant concerns around the construction element of the project. Coton road is already in very bad condition, sinking at the sides and current farm land continues to slip in to the road, making it very narrow in places. Construction will further damage this road and cause significant damage to a road which is unstable. In addition, the roads in the local area are very popular with cyclists, regular traffic will make this very dangerous for two years. Footpaths are already impassible for 3/4s of the year due to poor maintenance around the local farmland, this operation with further render the footpaths unusable. This significantly reduces leisure opportunities in our local area and encourages more residents to use cars rather than more sustainable transport methods.
