  1. This area already has a huge flooding problem. The solar panels will need concrete in the ground to stabilise them, which will exacerbate the problem. 2) The infrastructure of roadways is totally unsuitable for the HGV traffic that will be used. In the local area HGVs are already causing problems especially in Rosliston. 3) This area is National Forest so what is the point of having this to then fill it with solar panels. 4) Yet again we are looking at the destruction of natural habitats for very little gain. 5) There will be significant glare issues for residents and drivers around already dangerous roads. 6) The cost, destruction, inconvenience and landscape change is not rewarded by up to 40,000 houses, which is highly unlikely to be achieved anyway. 7) They are an eye sore in beautiful quality farmland destroying our countryside. 8) This is the 3rd long term major infrastructure/housing project that local residents are having to put up with in terms of traffic, road closures, lorries etc.
