We cannot lose 40 acres of farm land. We as a country do not produce enough food to feed ourselves as it is and to loose another large plot of good farmland in this time is not in our country's best interests. We live in a very rural area and we cherish this. The proposed building of this solar farm will mean during the construction stage, a large amount of heavy traffic on our lanes, which are in a poor state of repair as it is, now. We are in the National Forest and we should be adding to the tree population. The uprooting of hedges is going to affect the wildlife of the area, and we love seeing these occasionally There must be somewhere where this solar farm could be established on land which can not be used for any other purpose.
