Having considered the proposals and taken note of both the developers and opposition statements, on balance ,I must register my strong objection to this project. Although being a supporter of "green" energy the use of a large area of prime agricultural land cannot be acceptable and would refer you to the precedence set by the refusal of similar projects for this very reason. Having looked at the developers plans and proposals and having lived locally for more than 40 years it is apparent that when complete the combination of panels, containers and not least a high security fence will give the appearance of an industrial landscape no matter how one tries to disguise the fact given the undulation of the landscape and proximity to local lanes and houses. There are other areas of land nearby that are less agricultural which although would be personally more obtrusive from my location I feel is more suitable so this is not a case of not in my back yard !
