I object strongly to this solar farm. On the following grounds. I have lived in the beautiful village of Rosliston for 12 years now. I am raising my young child here who attends the village school and visits a lot of the local beauty spots. We have been teaching her about farming and the fields and she loves to see the farmers and tractors doing their work. How can we teach our future generations valuable life lessons and learning about sustainability if we plant vast areas of plastics into our surrounding fields? After brexit this country has struggled with sustainability and crops and now, more than ever, we need to keep our countryside for crops and to keep our farmers farming. Not only will this solar farm bring unwanted heavy traffic through our small villages and small country road, but noise pollution too. A constant buzzing 24hrs a day will be awful. Where is the research about if this will impact our future generations? How will health be affected? Our wildlife is also susceptible to this planned development. Destroying their habitats is beyond cruel for our eco system. This is without mentioning the awful blight on the landscape of such a beautiful area of South Derbyshire countryside Please keep our surrounding fields for grass and crops.... not for plastic fields
