I wish to record my strong opposition to the proposal on three grounds: 1. The size of the proposed development is totally out of scale with the area and will be visually disastrous. The loss of amenity this will bring is prejudicial to physical and mental health 2. The area hosts a wide range of wildlife, buzzards, Red Kites, deer etc. The impact on their feeding grounds will be immense 3. The area around the mediaeval castle site and the church is already subject to flooding. Run off in heavy rain will be greatly increased and will cause even more flooding to this historic site.
