Despite there being a great deal of land in this country a lot of land for food production is being used for other work i.e building houses, warehouses, new railway line etc. So as the population grows and amount of food needed grows, the amount of food produced in the UK falls. Whilst animals can eat some grass around solar panels on the floor, most of the sun produces electricity and not much grass. Why more solar panels are not put on warehouses and houses when they are being built is ridiculous because they not only produce electricity but also give more insulation. We put solar panels on our last house but have moved and will now put them on this house.
