I believe that the use of good agricultural land is really wasteful and environmentally wrong , there is a need to retain all the food producing land available Looking to future generations who will no doubt be more reliant on plant based food than we have been to date . There are many other places that these structures could be located and this should be a factor that is considered before what appears to be the easy option ie because it will supply power to nearby generators for powering trains . All large industrial sites and large buildings , disused airfields etc. can and should be used for the location of these very long term space occupying structures - lest future generations question the destruction of our environment . I do not think that good farmland should be taken out of use for 40 plus years when there are other sites more appropriate
