The development is using grade 1 & 2 agricultural land this is important for food production especially given the impact on food prices the war in Ukraine is having. Solar panels do not generate regular secure power , I know I have 21 on the roof of my house. Solar panels should be on roofs not on land. The panels are not recyclable therefore the Green argument is weak. They take over 12 years to offset their co2 footprint.
