My objections are: The size of the solar farm, the largest in the UK, in a rural area. Loss of agricultural land and food supply Loss of wildlife and beautiful countryside enjoyed by local residents Effect on the small local villages (especially Essendine) Traffic congestion Efficiency of solar panels and power supplied Concerns regarding the companies delivering this project, and their use of forced labour in China Decommissioning of the site and recycling of the solar panels when no doubt the development has been sold on in the future Forced acquisitions by the developer
