The site colossal, it completely changes the rural nature of the surrounding areas, It’s construction is damaging to local road networks, noise levels and distribution to local residents, loss of rural area and wildlife, reducing house prices and thus making a huge area to be avoided if wanting a quality of life. Acres upon acres of solar panels are ugly and not conducive to healthy living. Other brownfield sites, roofs of extensive buildings and a more remote site would be better options given the sheer size of the proposal. Green energy is important but it can’t be at the detriment of changing a pleasant rural area into a eyesore when other remote option sites should be considered.
