As a local resident I believe this land should remain as farming land. This project is planned with short term benefits in mind. We will need our agricultural land into the coming years - population grows, airmiles need to be taken into consideration. A derelict brownfield site is what is needed for this. It is also an eyesore plonked in the middle of the most beautiful countryside - why cant this be placed on factory roofs? What will happen to the site when it becomes redundant for these panels.
