In no order at this point: Sheer Scale Land use….AGRICULTURE not solar Visual impact combined with Mental Health transferring to physical health of the people affected by this. Ecology and Wildlife health not helped and preserved but damaged by tons and tons of concrete in the ground securing the upright metal bars, glass solar panels and prohibitive security fencing, cctv cameras, artificial night time lighting of compounds. Damage to tourism and peoples businesses / holiday lets as Lincolnshire / Rutland has a rich history and these counties are much prized by tourists. Construction traffic damaging the highways and roads etc Long term 40 years up to 60 years …..this isn’t temporary. Where does responsibility lie for degredation of this unspoilt area which can no longer be used for agriculture at the end of this period ? Our population is increasing not decreasing ……food shortages. And there is more…..this is just a snapshot of why Mallard Pass should not be approved. Total devastation of people lives and land…..and for what to benefit those that pull the strings….STOP before we see the entire country’s farmland covered in Solar Panels. Anyone with an ounce of forward thinking would see that solar should be on houses, commercial buildings, brownfield sites. We are an island…we cannot create more land but we do have plenty of water for wave power and wind power. Look at these other energy generating options first and let our wonderful County and Country remain the green and pleasant land we all know.
