I live in what will be the centre of this proposed solar farm. The disruption to my everyday life will be immense. The roads in this area are rural lanes and are not able to cope with the volume of traffic proposed. The loss of prime agricultural land at a time when we have more need for home production than since WW2. The scale of the proposal is too large for this small rural county. There will be a loss of habitat for wildlife. The electricity provided by solar is by no means enough to warrant this proposed project, Wind power would be a far better option with only minimal loss of agricultural land less effect on wildlife and better production of cheaper electricity.
