We live in the area, commute through the area, are bringing up a family in the area and whilst the overall population may be small due to its rural landscape and scattered villages, it is the impact to these villages and villagers that I am concerned about. The beautiful rural landscape will be blighted by ugly panels across the landscape where I live and where I commute through. The development is not in moderation for the environment and countryside, the area is exposed and visible from the roads around. Whilst I am not against renewable resources, the sheer scale and size impacts on the lives of local people around. The Chinese sourcing and Canadian work group concern me greatly, at a time when we need to be investing in home grown infrastructure not foreign teams. The proposed development isn’t UK led, and home grown and should be rejected until UK investment and development is found. The scale of the development is not applicable for the rural area we live in and should be scaled back considerably. We are not in favour of this development for our area and wish to see this stopped for the benefit of all the local communities in the surrounding area.
