Bullet pioints: Essendine would be completely surrounded by solar panels creating an industrial small town. Over-developed to the extent of over 2,000 acres. Visual and audible implications are unprecedented. Area is susceptible to flooding and the risk would be increased. Battery storage on such a scale is a major hazard to residents. Light polution at night. Good farming land would be underutilised. The wildlife including wild deers would be adversely affected. Recent government policy was not to develop such large solar projects which ruin the countryside.
