It is far too big for this rural countryside area and so close to residents homes and would have a large impact on the rural views . It’s using up good arable farmland that is needed for food production especially with the food and energy crisis we are experiencing - we need to support our country instead of relying on imports of food. This land is usually use hot rapeseed and Wheat both much needed . Solar should be on roofs of houses so individuals can benefit rather than energy companies and solar farm companies, who are just looking for a quick profit and with no regard to the local people they are effecting by such large farms near to there homes. The number of these proposed farms up and down the country is unacceptable- they should only be cited on brown field sites away from residents or tracks of land like next to motorways where there are no houses. The government should be managing this type of countrywide infrastructure so there are proper controls of how the energy is generated and used in stead of this piecemeal process that is being allowed to happen . It’s too important to have random companies being allowed to control energy supply in this country especially where they plan to use cheap imported Chinese panels. The amount of pollution and environmental disruption for this small rural community is totally unacceptable. The local community do not benefit at all from the proposed farm. The Impact on local environment, wildlife, biodiversity, habitats will be devastating and would take years to recover. There will be an Impact on recreation as people go to the country for a rural walk or cycle ride to see the countryside and not a view of solar panels, people will feel less able to do this in the area. Impacts of construction and decommissioning, particularly regarding traffic, roads, noise And light pollution.
