I am deeply concerned at the impact this development will have on the character of an enormous swathe of rural England, its productive farmland and natural environment. I strongly support renewable energy, but I believe it must be generated in ways that do not ruin the locations where plant is sited. The scale of the proposed installation is entirely out of keeping with this quiet rural area. It will destroy the natural milieu now recognized as crucial to mental and physical health, and will have an enormous impact on the quality of life of local people (to say nothing of property values) over a wide area. I believe it should be reconsidered for the sake of the whole community.
