The Mallard Pass Solar Farm would cause permanent damage and disruption to local people's lives and to established wildlife and ecology.Proposed potential mitigation is questionable in it's effectiveness. This is totally inappropriate use of good agricultural land. It is unlikely that promised power levels can be achieved with the variability of hours of sunshine.The visual impact would be unacceptable over such a large area. I am concerned about the increase in heavy traffic in my local area and the prospect of the damage of road widening schemes.
