I feel it is an unwise use of much needed agricultural land especially in these times when we are trying to become more self reliant as a nation. The construction of the project is going to have hundreds of extra lorry movements, many are going to have to pass schools because of where the quarries are situated or be on narrow back roads, just 100m of haul road 5m wide and 300mm thick is 18 loads, and there’s going to be many hundreds of meters of haul roads. There are many other places more suitable than this, warehouse roofs, brown field sites and less densely populated areas
