I am strongly objecting to the principle of destroying valuable farmland for solar energy. There are plenty of warehouses, supermarkets and carparks which could all be used for siting solar panels. The scale of each site would be smaller , but would allow for batteries and links to the grid to be of a smaller scale. My other objections are the sheer scale of the proposals, with no real mitigation for the destruction of the countryside. The scale of the project affects a significant area blighting a triangle between stamford, Bourne and market Deeping. The visual peaceful countryside Will not be a pleasure to walk through and the destruction to the flora and fauna will not recover in our lifetimes if at all. Glossy words from Mallard Pass should not be believed. I have other objections but I am sure similar ones will be raised by others.
