1/ How will you replace the thousands of acres of prime agricultural land that this scheme will occupy? 2/ Why is it such a strange shape? 3/ Why is it not being situated on a brown field site or on contaminated land? There are plenty of worked out gravel pits and landfill sites around. 4/ Is the Ryhall substation the only one in the country that can accept this level of electrical input? If not then where are the other suitable ones? 5/ What guarantee is there that this development cannot be influenced by foreign countries? It already sounds as if Canada has an influence. 6/ What is the life of the panels and what will happen to the site at the end of this period? I made the above comments in my original communication and now discover that it was useless and ignored so I have to start again. I wish to oppose this on the simple premise that it is in the wrong place being on prime agricultural land and not a brownfield site.
