I own a house in Essendine and this Mallard project is far too large and will bring the house prices down, the roads around great Casterton where I live are already overloaded with construction lorries, who in greater numbers over the last year, use the village as a cut through to the A1 even though surrounding roads have a weight limit. These construction lorries do not stick to the 20mph limits and even the Leicestershire police say that they don’t know what the speed limit is. Mallard pass is no less than wanton destruction to the area which is known to be green, plus the destruction to the wildlife, where we have some unique breeds. Even though this is a Canadian outfit, all the parts come from China who have an abominable history of abuse to humans and animals, and we should stop supporting them stealth like
