The sheer scale of MPSF is unprecedented, their Proposed Development Area would be the largest in the UK, and in Europe.2. The perimeter stretches over 25 miles, 4.2 miles end to end.3. The sheer scale of MPSF is 2,238 acres of our farming land. Land which is being leased for at least 40 years. Good agricultural land taken out of action. 1. WE NEED TO PRODUCE MORE OF OUR OWN FOOD NOW, DUE TO THE INPACT THE WAR IN UKRAINE ALSO OTHER COUNTRYS. . AS WELL AS CHEAPER ENERGY!! 2. 27 HGV twice a day will be thundering along our village's roads. Which obviously are not built or meant to take this type of construction traffic, or HGV'S. HGV'S passing through our local villages, and schools, safety for our children should be a major concern here! 3. Damage to our narrow, bendy A & B Roads, and major roads will be horrendous. Especially during the winter months, our muddy roadside verges will be cut up due to flooded roads, during the winter months.. 4. Dust, noise, and road safety for Pedestrians (CHILDREN) cyclists, walkers, and drivers, will all be impacted, for 2 years OR MORE if MPSF goes ahead, and EVEN beyond. Many of our Public Rights away will be closed or diverted during construction. Causing Chaos, and complete disorder and negative unwanted confusion!! 5. MPSF has offered 3 New permissive paths totalling 2.9 miles and some picnic benches will be provided. Near the PFP adjacent to the proposed MPSF sight. To see and enjoy WHAT?? MPSF - NO THANK YOU. 6. RAMBLERS RESPECT ALL EXISTING PFP. THEY SHOULD REMAIN, NOT NEW PERMISSIVE 2.9 MILES PATHS. THIS IS AN INSULT TO ALL LOVERS, and RAMBLERS OF THE ENGLISH COUNTRYSIDE 7. Greatford has suffered severe flooding in recent years. MY own daughter's family home in Greatford was flooded during the last couple of winters. 8. The West Glen River new permissive path and Wet Woodland area will probably be impassable in winter as that area also floods! 9. EVIDENCE OF UYGHUR FORCED LABOUR USED IN THE SUPPLY CHAIN OF [Redacted], THE PRIMARY DEVELOPER OF MPSF. CURRENTLY UNDER INVESTIGATION AND SCRUTINY BY ITS OWN SHAREHOLDERS???? WHY USE A CHINESE COMPANY, SUPPLYING GOODS TO A CANADIAN COMPANY, THEN SHIPPED AND SOLD TO THE UK.?? WHERE IS THE GOVERNMENT'S SUPPORT FOR OUR GREEN AND PLEASANT LAND???? 10. Solar is the cheapest energy to produce, BUT that does not result in cheaper tariffs for the consumer. Prices in the market are set by wholesale gas prices. Hence why Centrica today is reporting record profits of 2022 of £3.3bn, 3 times higher than the previous year and why our energy bills are so high. There are no benefits for our local community unless of course you class permissive footpaths and some homes surrounded by Solar panels, fencing, CCTV a benefit? 11. MPSF - PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT WOULD CHANGE THE CHARACTER OF LAND PARCELS LYING WITHIN THE WIDER PERIPHERAL SETTINGS OF SEVERAL LISTED BUILDINGS. YES THAT'S CORRECT SEVERAL LISTED BUILDINGS! MPSF WILL AFFECT BURGHLEY HOUSE, GARDENS, OPEN PARKLAND, HORSE TRIALS, CHRISTMAS FAIRS. IT IS A HUGE TOURIST ATTRACTION. UNDER I MILE FROM MPSF. 12. SOLAR PANCELS SHOULD BE CONSIDERED ON ALL NEW HOMES BEING BUILT. OR EXISTING HOUSE ROOFS. THIS SHOULD BE LAW. MPSF SHOULD CONSIDER - DISUSED AIRFIELDS. BROWNFIELD SITES. COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS.
