I believe that we should support infrastructure projects and I am well aware that there will always be an impact on both local people and the surrounding environment. This particular solar farm does not impact me or my family but it is on such a scale and to be built on prime agricultural land that I think it is madness that we are considering its construction. There are many more appropriate brown field sites (disused airfields for instance) which could be better used albeit at a greater cost to the provider to connect to the grid.
