It is my considered opinion that the proposed Mallard Pass Solar Farm development is inappropriate in scale as it will take out of production too much prime agricultural land all in one place. I also believe that the proposed scale of the development will have a significant impact on the wildlife in the area. Furthermore, I fear for the mental health of the residents in the villages which will be engulfed by this proposed development as they are bound to feel "hemmed-in" and "surrounded" by solar panels. The proposed size of the development is just too big and should be reduced by around 90% in coverage.
