I am opposed to this project on so many levels and have no confidence that it will be cost effective or appropriate for the country's energy needs long term. Our country needs to protect its agricultural land, food production and open spaces for wild life. Solar should be on rooftops or brownfield sites. In addition, all new planning applications should include a form of solar heating - subject to suitability. (I understand that car parks in France are being fitted with solar panels.) What right have we to burden future generations with the expense and uncertainty of this application, which I understand has no time limit. In addition to the above I support all the "construction & operational" issues raised by Mallard Pass Action Group.
