I live close by the affected site, and have many connections within the proposed area, including using it almost daily for leisure and recreation. The site is out of scale to the area it is proposed for. It is far too large, and presumably proposed for this area because it is rural and will garner few objections. It is crazy to remove productive farmland from the system at a time when it has been proven we need to ensure food self-sufficiency within the UK, and as there are alternatives for the siting of solar panels. For example, why are they not compulsory for the roofs of new buildings? To use this vast area for solar panels will lose it for generations to come. It cannot be dual use - few if any other solar farms have sheep grazing the area, for example. It would significantly alter the appearance of the area, changing it from rural to urban.
