I strongly oppose the proposed mallard solar farm installation, due to: The loss of prime agricultral land. A massive Negative impact on the local biodiversity, habitats and ecosystem, major negative impact on the local road network, futher impact on the Local flooding, Hazardous Battery compounds impacting the sub soil / streams and water ways, unsightly 3.3 meter assembly structures, solar panels and fencing. Impact on locals health and mental health. these are just a few points which I would raise at this stage. Although I am all for a greener world, surely all this proposal is doing is creating a negative impact with little return and undermining the UK commitment to supporting the food growing deficit, when green energy is far more efficient with offshore wind farms
