I consider the size and area of the solar farm to be unfair. This development covers such a large area which is currently farmland and open countryside, which has a vast wildlife. It would be a eyesore to local people and what will happen to the wildlife? Why could a project of such size be on brown field sites and not in the heart of a rural community? Another point to consider is, during construction, the traffic, over 2 years, will cause problems in the surrounding villages, where there are speed limits in place and roads not suitable for large lorries being used constantly. Also what happens to the solar panels in 40 years time? How safe are they?
