The solar farm site covers vast areas of productive arable land, sacrificing local produce grown on over 2000 acres for in excess of 40 years. The huge disruption to the local community, with noise/light pollution, visible scarring to our local countryside and extensive installation/maintenance of the site increasing traffic to unacceptable levels. Solar panels are a relatively inefficient form of renewable energy in this location (we have panels on our roof, very close to the proposed solar farm) the disadvantages far outweigh the benefits. It is the wrong site!
