I am fully supportive of solar farms - as a country we need to do far more to embrace renewable energy to make us self-sufficient. However, I do have two concerns about this proposed project. Firstly, the company behind this particular project, Windel Energy. They seem to have no experience of managing any projects and very few staff. Secondly, the scale of the solar farm does seem unnecessarily large for such a rural setting.
