Environmental and local amenity impact. Loss of agricultural production and loss of good grade grain growing land. Accumulative impact of building development and solar farms, government target of 70GW is the equivalent of the whole of South and North Kesteven in Lincolnshire. Impact on future food prices and loss of food supply security. Industrialising rural areas particularly with imports from a country with appalling human rights record.. Solar is particularly inefficient when land loss is included in the equation average of 11% efficiency claimed 350MW is really 38.5MW, This output does not justify the local environmental and amenity impact.
